Electric Dog Fence Training – What Should You Do?

Have you ever wondered about the training that goes into training a dog for an electric dog fence system? It can be very easy if you don’t cut corners and if you use a professional. If you do cut corners with the electric fence for dogs because you are impatient or because you use someone not qualified for conditioning, you can create a traumatic experience for your dog that can last for years.

If training isn’t done correctly, dogs can be afraid to even go outside. Improper invisible fence conditioning can cause dogs to lose their house training. They can become even more fearful, timid and shy. Dogs that are not properly trained are also more likely to repeatedly escape the invisible dog fence system.

Why not spend the time and do it right the first time? I am sure your dog feels the same way. Done properly, a dog does not have to fear the dog fence system; but, will look forward to exploring and playing in the yard every day.

What is the proper method to teach a dog its boundaries on the invisible dog fence system? Use a professional dog trainer. The relatively small amount of money paid for his or her instruction will provide a dog that adapts easily to its home. A properly conditioned dog will not test a boundary as frequently; thus, there will be less chance of him evading the invisible fence for dogs.  Also, a properly trained dog will not be terrified of the invisible fence; but respect it and its boundaries.

There are very few electric dog fence companies that require each dealership to have a professional dog trainer on staff; but, that would be a company high on my list.

As a rule electric dog fence companies use the guy who installs the fence to help teach your dog. Would you let your landscaper teach you Quantum Mechanics? Nope. Neither should you allow someone not qualified to train your precious family member to the system. Don’t believe or assume a company has a true professional trainer for conditioning. Let them prove it by providing you obedience references, certifications, etc.

Finally, the electric dog fence is a tremendous innovation for containing dogs at home, safely in their yard… if done correctly. Search for an invisible fence for dogs that has excellent quality products and uses genuine professional trainers and you will have a dog that is contained on his property for many years. If a dog does run through the electric fence for dogs, the same professional trainer used originally for the invisible dog fence should provide a training answer to rectify it.

Understand The Genuine Fact About The Teacup Pug

The miniature or the teacup pug is a little known kind of pugs.  Many people do not believe that such a breed exists and the teacup pug is simply a smaller version of an ordinary pug.  If you go into any pug forum folk will tell you that they have spotted teacup pugs and that they have a dissimilar appearance than the ordinary pug.  So is there truly a breed of pugs known as teacups?

The Facts

Basically a teacup pug isn’t really a purebred of pugs; instead they’re actually half breeds.  It’s common to see a pug crossed with a Chihuahua and the appearance can be rather superb.  Fundamentally you would mistake one of these half breeds a simply a smaller version of a pug.  The only semi noticeable difference being the length of the muzzle is a little longer in a teacup pug then in a normal purebred.

So is it safe to breed a pug with another dog like a Chihuahua?  The answer is a little yes and a little no.  Many of these teacup pugs need C sections.  One thing that may be beneficial for this kind of pug is the proven fact that they have got a barely longer snout which will scale back the chance possible respiring complications later on down the track.  This is a common issue in thoroughbred pugs.

Though there could be some advantages of cross breeding pugs, there are sometimes more complications involved and it’s not counseled that folks should do so.  There is a common term in dog society named  ‘designer dogs’.  These are dogs that are intentionally cross bred to create new unique breeds that no one else will have.  This is one of the worst things that folks could do.  It is not safe to experiment in cross breeding dogs unless of course you are a trained vet who is able to say what you are doing.

In Summation

Essentially there isn’t any tangible thoroughbred of teacup pugs.  Everyone knows that there are several different sorts of cross breeds out there and you could be mistaken if you see a teacup pug because often it’s likely merely an ordinary pug that is a little smaller in comparison to common.  One of the things you could do is next time you come across a smaller in comparison to usual pug, ask the owner if it is actually a teacup pug.  If they say yes then ask them what it is a cross of?  Most people will just tell you it is thoroughbred but as you now know, there is no such thing as a purebred teacup pug.
