Dogs and Dog Obedience Training
A person might think that teaching your dog obedience will be very difficult, especially if you are a first timer.Misbehaving is something you donot want your dog to be doing, but how do you get through to him? What will happen if you make to many mistakes? You may become frustrated, it may seem hard, but staying with it and applying patience along with the obedience training will be worth it as time passes.
Many people find that during obedience training the owner learns more than the dog. The relationship between you and your dog will really take off. You will need to discover the needs of your pet so that you can apply the proper training methods. Every dog has a different unique temperament and personality, just like us. By noticing this your success rate with the training will greatly improve.
Staying consistent and being repetitive is crucial to yourcanines training. And no, even though your pet isn’t picking things up as quickly as you would like, it does not mean that he won’t.
Obedience training should begin pronto. Even though your new companion is into playing full time with you, if alls you do is play instead of train, new bad habits may form.
It is important to let your dog know that there are rules. A very important step in training, and possibly the most difficult is when you start to house train. Dogs need a leader, you must become the leader. Once your new pet understands that you are in control, things should move along much more smoothly.
Part of the role of being pack leader is not being overly strict or applyingexcessive punishment,he is still in the learning stage. One point that should never be forgotten is to make the training experience enjoyable, nothing but fun.
Start reading some dog training books before you get your newpet.Even if you just decided on impulse to get your new pet, it will never be to late to start learning about how to train your dog.
Never quit learning and always have fun.

You know, being consistant and repetitive is so important and I believe that people seem to take that for granted. A dog will read your emotions and the way you react to them. In the midst of frustrations dealing with the dog, it may be hard to be consistent in the delivery of your commands. But it’s essential to dog obedience training.
Thanks!
